These are excellent travel shoes. Quite light, good traction for hiking as well as walking. This is my second pair and purchased because the first pair was so comfortible, good looking, and provide excellent utility.

These are the perfect shoes for travel to warmer climates or for those warm summer days when you’ll be near the water. They’re great for boat wear, canoeing and kayaking, or just hiking. They’re lightweight, breathable so your feet stay cool, and a perfect protective sandal. I’ll always have a pair of these around.

This is my third pair of these shoes in 4 years, they are the best in terms of construction and comfort. I walked a 26 mile marathon in these shoes and my feet never got tired or sore. I will continue to buy them as long as they keep up the quality.

First off I have good feet, no problems with them, can walk barefoot. Size 6 fit my size 6 medium width foot. Felt comfy and provided adequate support. Worn for water landings followed immediately by hikes on: sandy, rocky, pebbly, uneven terrain of the Galapagos. Dried quickly, but not immediately. The temperature was 80 F so damp shoes not a problem for me. I packed light weight socks to put on for hikes, but rarely needed them. Open areas of shoe provided escape for water, air circulation. The velcro closure for strap made putting shoes on and off a breeze, plus shoes could be looped together easily when not wearing. Occassionally some pebbles entered shoe through openings, but wearing socks will prevent that problem. Good traction on slippery, wet surfaces, light weight. Wash clean easily with water from hose. Wound up wearing them home on plane, because of their comfort, even though I looked like a yellow footed boobie (Galapagos insider joke).

I found that these shoes run a little small – had to order 1/2 size up (I usually wear 8 1/2 and ended up with a size 9). Otherwise, love them! My teenage nieces thought they were cute, too.
